The Spy x Family anime is finally out and fans have been loving the premiere episode. Amazingly, it looks like the series has no plans of slowing down. Crunchyroll has just confirmed that the show's English dub is set for an early release this week. In addition to that, the English dub voice cast has been announced!
Crunchyroll confirmed that the Spy x Family English dub will begin streaming this weekend. However, fans who want to get an early start can stream the first episode's English dub on Crunchyroll's Twitter channel on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 4:00 PM EDT.
The English dub cast has also been revealed. Alex Organ will play Loid Forger aka Agent Twilight while Natalie Van Sistine has been cast as Yor Forger. Megan Shipman will provide Anya Forger's English dub voice while Anthony Bowling is Loid's informant Franky Franklin.
Cris George will direct the English dub while Tyler Walker will pen the script. Helena Wahlstrom serves as the ADR engineer.
In addition to the English dub, French and German dubs will also be released on Saturday. The Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese dubs will be launched next week on April 23, 2022.
Spy x Family is based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo which follows the master spy Twilight as he takes on the ultimate impossible assignment: To get married and have a child. Twilight must find a wife and a child for an important mission to infiltrate an elite private school. However, things get even more complicated when it's revealed that his wife is an assassin while the little girl he had adopted is a telepath.
Spy x Family Episode 2 is titled Secure a Wife ("Tsuma-yaku o Kakuho Seyo") and is based on the manga's second chapter Mission 2. The episode will premiere on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
