After Spider-Man: No Way Home’s box office success, the film is set to release on different streaming platforms around the world before Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness takes No Way Home’s spot in the theaters.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home was a massive success for the Marvel Universe and it's now one of Marvel’s highest-grossing films. Thanks to the concept of Multiverse that brought our two former Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Fans can't get enough and watch the film in theaters multiple times to celebrate a three-generation of Spider-Mans on the big screen.
But the public viewers are also waiting for the digital release of the film. Fans are eagerly anticipating when the 3rd Spider-Man film becomes available for home release so that we can experience the hype once again. Reports claim that the home release date will be on February 28 but unfortunately, a new report indicates that No Way Home’s release date will be delayed, but thankfully, for a day.
Microsoft Store announced that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released for home viewing on March 1, 2022, one full day of delay of what was initially reported. Those who pre-ordered the film will digitally receive their download and others can purchase the film when it is released.
The film reportedly costs $19.99 and viewers can choose between different qualities. Available in Standard Definition, High Definition, and Ultra High Definition.
The reason why it was delayed is that most Marvel blockbusters arrive on digital platforms and DVDs fall on Tuesdays and March 1 comes on a Tuesday as well.
No Way Home was a huge success at the US box office after it was reported that No Way Home officially passes James Cameron’s Avatar at the third spot for highest-grossing films. The film is also dominating the Oscars in the Fan-voted Category, which could result in more recognition for the film despite not being nominated for Best Picture.
While other streaming services have not yet announced the release date of the film, we can all pre-order and stream as Spider-Man: No Way Home will be available on March 1, 2022, in the Microsoft Store.
