The fans were quick to point out some jokes about Holland looking like different people or characters like rapper Eminem, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven in Stranger Things, and even Caillou. Fans were surely divided in opinion with regards to his hair but, hey, hair grows back, right?
As it turns out, Holland is set to play the lead character in a new movie titled Cherry, which is based on author Nico Walker. The story follows the protagonist returning from war with an undiagnosed PTSD and eventually developed an opioid addiction; he then started to rob banks.
Aside from Holland, the film includes the likes of Ciara Bravo, Bill Skarsgard, Jack Reynor, Forrest Goodluck, Jeff Wahlberg, Michael Gandolfini, and Kyle Harvey. The movie will be co-produced by Avengers: Endgame director Anthony and Joe Russo along with Hideaway Entertainment.
The movie doesn't have a release date yet, but Cherry is expected to be released in 2020.
