Spider-Man PS4: Classic Scarlet Spider and Secret War Costumes Confirmed

Insomniac's Spider-Man PS4 is coming out in a month and three days, so those that own Sony's current-gen console should be pumped. The game looks great and really fun to play, mixing up Arkham Asylum-style combat with web-swinging fans have enjoyed since Spider-Man 2 on PS2. What has geeks like us going crazy however are the unlockable costumes and a new preview has confirmed several new ones.

US Gamer has confirmed that we will be seeing Ben Reilly's classic Scarlet Spider costume, as well as the Secret War outfit he used when Nick Fury led a super-powered assault on Latveria. The preview also teases the Spider-Man 2099 costume, which is a huge fan-favorite so this will be a favorite amongst many comic book fans.

The article also confirmed the previously revealed Spider-Man Noir suit and both of Peter's outfits from Spider-Man: Homecoming. That's right, we get the outfit Tony Stark made for Peter and his handmade costume, which our hero used in the movie's climax against Vulture. Expect even more costumes in the game, with more added as DLC.

Pre-order outfits include the Avengers: Infinity War Iron Spider armor, the Spider-Punk suit that an alternate universe Hobbie Brown uses, and an original Velocity Suit from comic artist Adi Granov.

Spider-Man PS4 comes out on September 7.
