Spider-Man: No Way Home Star Andrew Garfield Wants Tom Holland to Host Oscars 2022

The 94th Academy Awards is happening in a few months and people are already excited about the ceremony. After all, there are awesome contenders for each category. But who will be the host of the upcoming event? Andrew Garfield believes that his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star Tom Holland should be the host of the 2022 Oscars!

We all know that Tom Holland is a great actor and he does have awesome comedic timing. Andrew Garfield is well aware of that and that's why he is endorsing the Spider-Man: No Way Home actor to be the host of this year's Academy Awards.

"I think Tom is so charismatic and such an incredible performer and actor, and I think he'd be an incredible Oscars host. I think he would be absolutely brilliant. And I would certainly be curious to see how he was as an Oscars host," Garfield told People. He then continued to praise the Avengers: Endgame star.

"He's so charming and he's such a showman and he's such a song-and-dance triple-threat actor. I would be very, very confident in his confidence," Garfield stated.

It's not a huge surprise that Andrew Garfield is backing Holland in the chance of a lifetime. The host of Oscars 2022 has not yet been revealed and an official announcement could be made soon. With that in mind, and with Garfield's enthusiastic endorsement, we wouldn't be surprised if Holland gets the job.

Holland is not the only one who is believed to be the host of the Oscars this year. There are speculations that The Suicide Squad star Pete Davison is being considered as well.

Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland recently worked together on Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is still screening in theaters worldwide. The 94th Academy Awards has not yet revealed who will host the ceremony. The Oscars 2022 will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on March 27, 2022.
