Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse Clip Shows Us Spider-Man's HQ

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is set to come out by the end of the week, and the hype continues to build for the movie. Thanks to Fandango, we get an exclusive clip of Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, and Peter Parker meeting the rest of the Spider-People.

Already you can see that Miles' version of Spider-Man is loads different than the one that crashes into this universe. We know that the Peter Parker here is kind of a miserable wreck, and it's a lot clearer when we see him react to how successful Miles' Spider-Man is.

Interestingly enough, there are also some choice Easter Eggs in the clip. You'll notice the Spider-buggy is in the film, and though it's mostly just made for merch purposes, it did have a memorable stint in the Old Man Logan comic. You'll also notice the suit from the Spider-Man PS4 game in one of the displays.

Though the year has given us some great animated films in the form of The Incredibles II and Ralph Breaks the Internet, a lot of critics online are insistent that Into the Spider-Verse is going to come out as the best animated film of the year. The movie is already tagged with several nominations, and a lot of people are convinced that the film is going to win an Oscar.

Bitten by a radioactive spider in the subway, Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales suddenly develops mysterious powers that transform him into the one and only Spider-Man. When he meets Peter Parker, he soon realizes that there are many others who share his special, high-flying talents. Miles must now use his newfound skills to battle the evil Kingpin, a hulking madman who can open portals to other universes and pull different versions of Spider-Man into our world.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse comes out Dec. 14.
