Spider-Man Far from Home: Tom Holland's Stunt Double is Blasted with Water in New Set Video

Production for Spider-Man: Far from Home is officially underway, and in support of charity, Tom Holland has given us an inside look where his stuntman is blasted with a huge wave of water.

Check it out:

Based on what information we have, I guess it's safe to say that Spider-Man is clashing with Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio in this video. In the comics, Mysterio was a master special effects artist, and it would make sense that he would fight Spider-Man with something like a giant water cannon.

Then again, this is just my speculation. I could be completely wrong.

What I really liked about Spider-Man: Homecoming was that it was able to introduce several Spider-Man villains, but at the same time not draw away focus from the main baddie which was Michael Keaton's Vulture. With Far from Home, I'm half-expecting some more villains show up, but only in a minor role compared to Mysterio.

J.B. Smoove has been cast in the film in a mystery role, but I'm starting to get more convinced that he's playing J.J. Jameson and not a villain. He's the right age for an angry newspaper editor-in-chief, and his fast-talking antics can rival that of J.K. Simmons in the original Spider-Man.

Isn't it also a coincidence that both J.J. actors would have names that are only one letter apart?

Again, I could be totally wrong, but it's still a pretty good guess.

Spider-Man: Far from Home comes out July 5, 2019.
