Spider-Man: Far From Home Cut Ned's Reaction to the Post-Credits Sequence

Spider-Man: Far From Home may have had the biggest post-credits sequence of all time, up there with the one from The Avengers and has shaken the foundation for future Spider-Man movies. For those that don't know, Mysterio unveiled to the world in his "dying breath" that Peter Parker was Spider-Man, though we only saw Peter's masked reaction. Turns out that there was more since actor Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned, recorded his own reactions.

During an interview with Screen Rant, Batalon revealed that Ned had a reaction and, as expected, it was one of shock and horror. This isn't a surprise since Ned loves Peter like a brother and has done his hardest to keep his identity as Spider-Man a secret. Expect Ned to help Peter out a lot in the next movie, hopefully with Daredevil or She-Hulk as his lawyer.

"I filmed reactions to it. I remember doing a bunch of screams as Ned, just like yelling and in shock noises, like gasping and crying."

While he didn't say where Ned was, we can assume that there are other characters who reacted to the news. Aunt May and Happy Hogan are obvious contenders for this, along with Flash Thompson. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if these reactions are the opening moments of the third Spider-Man MCU movie, whatever that ends up being called.

Now that Sony and Marvel have made up, we're getting an MCU Spider-Man 3, along with one more guest appearance, before he enters the Sony-Verse. The unnamed Spider-Man movie comes out on July 2021, while Spider-Man: Far From Home is now available on Blu-Ray.
