Fans of the ‘80s have been waiting for Sony's Masters of the Universe reboot. The movie is set to reintroduce He-Man to modern audiences since the character hasn't been relevant for many years, aside from a few comic books and graphic novels, maybe even a few action figures. Still, fans of the cheesy animated series will be happy to know that the movie is only two years away.

According to a report from Variety, we will be seeing the movie in theaters on March 5, 2021. That's a solid enough release date since it's before the big summer releases but isn't early enough to be in the movie slump stage. Hopefully, we get more information from the movie soon, though some images and a trailer would also be nice.

Currently, the only things we know about this movie is that it's a reboot of the terrible Masters of the Universe movie that came out more than two decades ago and that Noah Centineo will be playing He-Man. The movie will be directed by Aaron and Adam Nee, with Iron Man writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway handling scripting duties.

So, is anyone else pumped up for the live-action Masters of the Universe reboot? Those interested in the series' lore can also check out She-Ra and the Princesses of Power on Netflix.
