Sony's Masters of the Universe Gets First Teaser Poster

Sony's Masters of the Universe reboot has a lot of people interested, mostly due to not seeing a lot of He-Man in recent years. The character doesn't appear in Netflix's acclaimed She-Ra show but he will be in a live-action movie next year so that's something fans have been looking forward to. While we still don't have any official images or trailers, we do have a new teaser poster.

During the Licensing Expo, the teaser poster below was shown. Sadly, it barely shows anything aside from the logo and release date, the former of which looks temporary, so this isn't much. It seems like we won't be seeing much of the movie until 2020 and beyond but let's hope that this trumps the original live-action Masters of the Universe movie.

He-Man and The Masters of The Universe was an ‘80s cartoon that was fairly popular at the time, being up there with cartoons like Transformers. Like most of the cartoons made in this era, most of these cartoons were made to sell toys, though a lot of their adventures still resonate with fans today, hence this live-action reboot.

We're all hoping that this Masters of the Universe reboot doesn't have the same plot as the ‘90s original, which nobody liked. Yeah, it had Dolph Lundgren and Courteney Cox but they couldn't save it. Sony is aiming for a March 2021 release.
