All is set for Song Joong Ki’s return to the small screen. JTBC has dropped a new trailer for Song Hye Kyo’s ex-husband’s new K-drama series, Reborn Rich.
Song Joong Ki’s last starrer drama was Vincenzo. He then made an appearance in Little Women. Now, fans will once again see more of him in Reborn Rich.
Song Joong Ki’s New Role
The actor plays the role of Yoon Hyun Woo. He used to be a loyal secretary of a chaebol family.
However, he gets framed for embezzlement by the family he faithfully served for years, resulting in his death.
But when he returns to life, he’s reborn as a member of that family, the youngest son, Jin Do Joon, of the man who killed him.
Now, he plans to take his revenge and take over the company.
Reborn Rich Preview
The new preview sees Song Joong Ki’s role getting caught in the middle of a conspiracy. He’s the future asset management team’s leader at Sunyang C&T.
He’s also the company’s all-around problem solver who’s willing to do everything for the Sunyang Family.
However, when he’s trusted with an important mission to retrieve Sunyang’s assets that have been leaked overseas, he encounters a huge problem that changes his destiny.

He gets kidnapped by a mysterious group. A gunshot is then heard, and he’s seen being pushed to the edge of the cliff. From there, he drowns.
When he opens his eyes, it’s already 1987, and he’s in Seoul. He, too, possesses the body of a child named Jin Do Joon, the youngest son of Kin Yang Chul (Lee Sing Min), the president of the Sunyang Group.
“One of these people killed me,” he says to himself.
Reborn Rich Producers Tease New Show
“After being born into the bloodline of the Sunyang Group family that killed him, Jin Do Joon shakes up the family’s world, and he inevitably ends up facing off against the ’emperor’ Jin Yang Chul,” the producers said.

“Although they are the closest of family, Jin Do Joon and Jin Yang Chul have become enemies,” they continued. “Please look forward to the blazing chemistry between Song Joong Ki and Lee Sung Min, who will be portraying these characters’ dramatic tale.”
Reborn Rich will premiere on November 18 on JTBC. The show will be later available with subtitles on Viki.
