Song Joong Ki and Katy Louise Sanders are getting married and expecting their first child together.
Song Joong Ki surprised his fans when reports revealed in December that he was already dating someone. Several news outlets said he was dating a non-celebrity British woman, and the claims were soon confirmed by his agency.
Following the announcement, Song Joong Ki delivered more news to his fans.

Song Joong Ki Announces Marriage + Wife's Pregnancy
The Descendants of the Sun actor posted an announcement on his official fan café, confirming that his now-wife, Katy Louise Saunders, is now pregnant with their first child together. The same post revealed their upcoming marriage after registering their union Monday.
As quoted by Sports DongA, Song Joong Ki expressed his gratitude to fans who have been supporting him. He also described his wife as a kindhearted, sensible, and amazing person. He then thanked her for inspiring him to become a better individual.
Part of the statement read:
“We naturally dreamed of creating a happy family together. We have put in much effort to keep each other’s promises, and we are sincerely thankful as a new life has come to us.
And today, based on our deep trust and love for each other, we are on our way back from registering our marriage to begin life as a married couple.
As we are now, the two of us will walk our days ahead beautifully while facing the same direction.”

Song Joong Ki also thanked Ki Aile, his fan club, for giving him the greatest strength throughout his acting career. He ended his post by wishing everyone a happy and healthy life.
He is yet to confirm his wedding details.
Song Joong Ki's Previous Marriage
Before his recent announcement, Song Joong Ki was previously married to his Descendants of the Sun co-star, Song Hye Kyo, but called it quits a year and nine months later.
He was the first one to reveal their divorce to the public, leading people to think Song Hye Kyo probably did something. Thus, it led the actress to suffer condemnation and criticism. The actress's supporters, on the other hand, accused Song Joong Ki of not caring about her reputation.
It was later revealed that Song Hye Kyo was the one who filed for divorce.
Song Joong Ki famously debuted in the 2008 film A Frozen Flower. From there, he starred in more notable series and films, including Sungkyunkwan Scandal, The Innocent Man, Descendants of the Sun, Vicenzo, A Werewolf Boy and Space Sweepers.
