Song Ji Ah remains a hot topic today, not just because of her part in Netflix’s Single’s Inferno but the issues surrounding her. Also known as Free Zia, she admitted to wearing fake designer clothing that earns the public's wrath, but how much does the reality star really owns?

Contrary to what many think, Song Ji Ah has her own fortune, thanks to her being a social media influencer, vlogger, brand representative, and, of course, a celebrity. Her success in Single’s Inferno makes her an overnight star until she gets embroiled in a big scandal.

The Establish Social Media Career of Song Ji Ah

Before joining the hit dating show, the controversial YouTuber already had an established social media career as an influencer. She used to create content for her YouTube channel and share different posts on Instagram, mostly sponsored by famous brands.

With that being said, KDrama Stars revealed she is believed to earn a huge amount of money from her sponsored posts alone. It may even be higher than that of the known celebrities.

In fact, her stint on Single’s Inferno and the image she has created online make her one of the most sought-after influencers of the top brands. Her subscribers even doubled in no time.

Song Ji Ah now has 3.7 million followers on Instagram, while she has 1.91 million subscribers on YouTube. However, she has decided to delete all of her contents on both websites after her counterfeit designer items controversy broke out, leaving only her apology video and letter.

However, the content creator’s agency, Hyowon CNC, revealed that before her scandal emerged, she would usually earn 30 million KRW per one sponsored Instagram post. Alternatively, a sponsored video costs around 80 million KRW. If converted to dollars, that is almost $24,000 and $66,500, respectively.

Song Ji Ah probably now has a $500,000 net worth considering all her earnings. However, TV Guide Time noted this amount is not yet confirmed.

Song Ji Ah Goes Into Hiatus

Meanwhile, amid all the controversies surrounding Song Ji Ah, she has decided to remove all her social media content and goes into hiatus to self-reflect.

“I admit the controversy of wearing fake luxury goods and acknowledge that everything is my fault,” she said in the apology video she uploaded to YouTube. As a YouTuber, I should have been more careful and thoughtful in all my actions, but I damaged the brands’ images and disappointed many people. I’d like to apologize.”

Free Zia continued that she only bought fake luxury items because they were pretty. But with the love and attention she received because of it, she completely got hooked.

“I should have realized my actions and looked back inside instead of focusing on how the image of ‘Song Ji-ah’ was being displayed, she added. “I am very regretful.”

Song Ji Ah also shared a handwritten apology letter on Instagram after the news broke out.
