Son Ye Jin on Why She Never Dated Anyone Publicly

Before having a high-profile relationship with Hyun Bin, Son Ye Jin previously admitted she had been secretive about her private life, especially her love life.

She previously explained the reason why she became more blooming with her currently relationship, telling KBS Entertainment Weekly (as quoted by Korea Portal) that she had very high standards when it comes to choosing who she should date.

"I simply can't date right now. In order to date, you have to go out to meet people and go on blind dates, but it's not easy. And it gets harder as you get older," she said.

So despite her chances of trying to have a relationship with her previous co-stars, Son Ye Jin chose to keep things low-key until she found Hyun Bin. With that said, fans assumed that the actor was the only and first person to meet her standards.

Queries about Son Ye Jin’s ex-boyfriends resurfaced after she and Hyun Bin announced their forthcoming marriage.

On Instagram, she shared a photo of a tiny wedding dress and confirmed that she would start her new life with Hyun Bin.

“I believe that one day I can approach the ideal I have in my mind. That’s why I will work to become someone that you won’t be embarrassed by. I sincerely hope that everyone will experience more and more happiness in the days ahead. I want to share my love and gratitude with you all,” she went on.

Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin’s relationship was first confirmed by Dispatch in 2021.
