Solo Star Alden Ehrenreich Leans On Chewie In Cover Of Entertainment Weekly

It's a great week for Star Wars fans. Not only has Lucasfilm dropped new previews and posters for Solo: A Star Wars Story, but it looks like fans can get to learn more about the upcoming Star Wars spinoff in this week's edition of Entertainment Weekly.

Alden Ehrenreich's Han Solo is on the cover of the magazine along with his "walking carpet" bestie, Chewbacca, the two leaning on each other against a dusty backdrop.

That's not all. Along with the fantastic cover is a series of new images from the upcoming standalone, and a few interviews with Ehrenreich and Lando actor Donald Glover. Speaking with the publication, Ehrenreich talks more about his version of Star Wars favorite scoundrel, saying that his Han is more idealistic than the one fans get to meet and grow up with in the Star Wars franchise.

"I think the main thing that's different is that the Han we meet in this film is more of an idealist," the actor says. "He has certain dreams that he follows, and we watch how it affects him as those dreams meet new realities — realities that are harder and more challenging than he'd expected."

Would these realities be how the Empire treats the rest of the galaxy? Or is Han going to experience something even more painful in the film?

Let's wait and see.

Solo: A Star Wars Story premieres on May 25, 2018.
