Solo A Star Wars Story: Ron Howard Shares Photo on Final Stages of Post-Production

A lot of fans were already expecting Solo: A Star Wars Story to be a bomb ever since Phil Lord and Chris Miller were replaced, but it seems like director Ron Howard has remarkably been doing well with the time that he's given. The movie is already in its final stages of post-production, and Howard has shared this cool piece of him in what I assume is the editing bay.

Check it out:

For now, we can probably surmise that Solo will begin with the ‘A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away" title. Another Star Wars anthology, Rogue One, did away with the traditional opening crawl and screen transitions, so Solo following suit would have been expected. For now, it looks like it will be part of the final cut.

Howard also shares that Solo's story has been in development since 2012, the same year that Disney had bought Star Wars. It's worth noting that there has been a lot of praise when it came to people who read the script, and Lord and Miller were said to have been fired from deviating too much from it.

With the movie ending production so close to the release date, a lot of fans have been bracing themselves for Solo to be Lucasfilm's first misfire ever since Disney took over, but for now, everything seems to be looking good for the spinoff.

Catch Solo: A Star Wars Story in theaters May 25.
