Solo: A Star Wars Story Novel Reveals Surprising Rogue One Connection

We already know that Han Solo gave most of the refined coaxium to Enfys Nest in Solo: A Star Wars Story. However, the film's novelization offers more details on what happened to the shipment and it looks like it ended up with important Rogue One: A Star Wars Story characters.

StarWars.com has shared an excerpt from Solo: A Star Wars Story: Expanded Edition which reveals that Enfys met up with Saw Gerrera after taking the coaxium from Han. Interestingly, the young freedom fighter has a touching exchange with Saw's 11-year-old ward Jyn Erso. Check it out below.

"[Enfys] reached under her mask and pulled it off, shaking her wild hair free. She smiled at Jyn, who still watched her, unmoved by the reveal. 'Do you think that your youth protects you?'
'No,' Jyn said flatly.
'You're right. You're smart. Still, they're going to underestimate you. Make them regret it.'
The girl's eyes narrowed as if the threat were right behind them. 'They?'
'Everyone,' Enfys said. 'Make them regret it.'"

The short conversation with a young girl like her may have had a profound effect on young Jyn, who would later make Director Orson Krennic regret underestimating her in Rogue One. It's only fitting that the advice came from a woman who has been fighting for freedom at a young age.

Solo: A Star Wars Story: Expanded Edition will be released on September 4. The film's DVD and Blu-Ray will be available on September 25.
