Solo: A Star Wars Story BTS Reveals Emilia Clarke Worked Through a Leg Injury

Emilia Clarke may be best known as Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones, but she's also Han Solo's first love Qi'Ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story. While there are a lot of BTS stories to come out of that movie—like the one where they fired the directors—a photo from the Making of book reveals that Clarke actually shot part of the film with a leg injury.

Check this out:

We don't know if this happened under Ron Howard or Phil Lord and Chris Miller's watch, but you can see the set behind her is the very same location as that of Savareen. Interestingly enough, Clarke also got a hip injury while she was working on Terminator: Genisys, and she also had to walk with crutches then. I'm starting to wonder if this is the same case with Solo.

For now, everyone is waiting to see what's in store for Daenerys Targaryen on the last season of Game of Thrones. Admittedly, Dany has been kind of a whiner in the latest episodes, and some are even starting to think that she's going to end up the villain. Personally, I hope it doesn't come to that, and all this was just a way to add drama to the series.

As for Star Wars though, there are some fans online who are trying to #MakeSolo2Happen. After the disappointing box office returns, Lucasfilm has kind of shelved their anthology films, but fingers crossed they find a way to bring Alden Ehrenreich and the rest of the fantastic Solo cast back.

Catch Clarke in Game of Thrones 8 when it airs on HBO this Sunday.
