Solo A Star Wars Story: Are Han’s Lucky Dice Actually Qi’Ra’s?

Though Han Solo's lucky dice did appear briefly in A New Hope, we got a better look at them in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The trinket will be coming back in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and a new promo image actually makes it look like the dice actually belonged to Emilia Clarke's character Qi'Ra.

Here's an image of Qi'Ra actually holding the dice herself.

In the trailers, we hear that Han actually grew up on the streets, and we get a glimpse of the dice while he's driving a speeder. Seeing that Han did grow up rough, what if the speeder he was driving actually belonged to Qi'Ra, and the dice on the dashboard were actually hers all along?

Some speculation has been going around that Qi'Ra is Han's love interest in the film, and by the end we'll see her die. With that in mind, it would make sense for Han to hang the dice around as a keepsake from Qi'Ra; then again, it kind of undermines his romance with Leia.

Of course, this is all just speculation. There's a possibility that the dice are still Han's, but wouldn't it be interesting if there was an actual sentimental story behind them?

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters May 25.
