So I'm a Spider, So What? begins with an explosion that kills an entire classroom of students their lives. In true isekai fashion, most of the students are reincarnated into fancy lives... not all of them, however. Our main character is an unlucky girl who finds herself in another world, reincarnated as a spider monster, only known as "Kumoko" or Nameless.

But this is not even the worst of it; this fantastic world functions as an RPG or video game, and our main character wastes all her points on useless developments, meaning that she can't defend herself and is constantly in danger. Kumoko then starts defeating monsters to level up, get stronger and eventually get a better life.

In Episode 19, Kumoko defeated her evil mother, so Ariel is now the most immediate threat for her. Following her feat, her popularity shows no sign of diminishing, but this means that she is also an easier target. At least, she gets to experience some happiness after all her misfortunes, which is very satisfying for long-time fans.

Unfortunately, Kumoko doesn't always make the best choices, and her actions might have triggered a war. In the human side of the story, the war is also about to begin, so we're expecting the two timelines to finally coincide by the show's finale. That's something to look forward to!

So I'm a Spider, So What? Episode 21 is scheduled to air next Friday, the 4th of May 2021 for subscribed Crunchyroll users.
