What Happened in Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 6?

In Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 6, Born to Bleed, Layton goes to Pike and some Tailies to be his protection as some unknown person is targeting him. Bess investigates and it goes deeper as she found out that the bomb that was detonated that almost got to Layton was from the notes of Lights, a tailie who knows stuff about electronics and basically the tinkerer of the Tailies.

Bess informs Layton about this finding and he was so in shock because only a few people knew about the existence of the notes of Lights, one of which he just asked to be his protector, Pike, and when Pike found out that Layton already knew about what he did, he fled from Layton and met with Asha. Asha tells Pike her experience hiding in the reactor for years and she told Pike the lie she had to talk about New Eden.

Meanwhile, Ruth goes to Roche who is detained in the psychiatry car as she pleads for him to come back but his response was that killing Wilford is the only thing he’ll do if he comes back. Alex and Carly, Roche’s daughter, became friends and Alex asked her if she could meet Roche. Carly wants her father to move on and live a normal life with her.

On the other hand, Audrey bribes LJ to help her get into the first class so she could see Wilford. She tells him to fight Layton and use his current circumstance to win the people back. However, Wilford remains on a wheelchair and he tells her that New Eden might really exist and that Layton may be right. This caused Audrey to get angry at Wilford and walked out.

Ruth sees Layton and Bess while they were investigating the cabin of Pike where they saw the notes of Lights. They give the notes to Ruth and that’s when she finally realized that it was Pike who was behind the explosion.

As they try and decide how to get Pike, Josie and Miles has a suggestion that dates back to when all of them were just Tailies, “Old Ivan’s Way,” a tradition they had wherein two individuals face each other can try to resolve their issue in the most peaceful way. Layton knows Pike would not ignore it as it is a Tailies tradition and he calls him to the Tail to talk it out.

Pike accepts because it is a tradition. As Layton tries to talk to Pike about the matter, he tries to bribe Pike with luxuries but the latter was a man of principle this time and he tells Layton that not everyone can be bought. It’s revealed that Pike’s resentment of Layton started way before as when Layton became the leader of Snowpiercer, he started to feel inferior.

Pike said that he hates the idea of Layton having control over the lives of the passengers of Snowpiercer and that he has the power and authority to sway the people for his personal reasons. They used to be brothers-in-arms. When Pike learns about New Eden, he only got more suspicions on whether the promise was true. Asha confirmed the lie and Pike got enough determination to kill Layton.

Pike decides to have a knife over a discussion. While Layton remains unfit to fight after the explosion, Pike knows where to hit him but, in the end, Layton came out victorious as he stabbed Pike leading to his death, buying them more time on the idea of New Eden until they arrive at the designated warm spot, and Layton faces another personal dilemma.

Layton and the others paid their respects to pike and Layton suffers from visions, causing his fall. He passes out in the Tail and his body gave up on him after suffering serious blows on his head with the explosion and fight with Pike.

What is the Title of Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 7?

Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 7 is titled “Ouroboros” and the synopsis of the episode is as follows: “As the train grapples with Layton's status, he's discovering that some dreams aren't worth having. Wilford makes a shocking discovery."

The synopsis of the episode quite hints that possibly, New Eden does not exist and the people of Snowpiercer continue to question his leadership. What would they do if New Eden does not exist? Also, what could Wilford possibly discover that would make it so shocking? Will he discover that New Eden is not real at all?

The promo of the next episode also hints that there is some major war coming and this time, Layton will be hanging on the balance as he hold on for dear life following an assault. It seems that they would be arriving on new Eden but the people already took arms. Is it possible that Pike already told the truth to them?

As for the Netflix release of Snowpiercer, it happens in one bulk which means that for Season 3 of Snowpiercer, Netflix would have to wait for the whole season to finish its release on TNT. Netflix has yet to confirm or release the official release date of Snowpiercer on their streaming platform. For those living outside of the US, the episodes are released weekly on Netflix.
