What Happened in Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 3?
In Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 3, The First Blow, A game of cat and mouse with the pirate train and the Snowpiercer starts as they enter the train yard tracks where there are a lot of ways to get in and out. The two trains try and outsmart each other where Wilford orders to derail the pirate train, one where he is successful in doing so, and finally leaving just one where all the passengers of the pirate train run to safety.
After derailing the pirate train, Wilford continues to push Javi for Snowpiercer to run as fast as possible and they turned off all the lights and everything possible to keep off the prying eyes of those on the pirate train. Running blindly, Layton and the team tries to figure out where a train of 1023 cars long could get off of their sight that easily.
Thankfully, people of the resistance came through as Ruth instructs Pike to give Layton and the team a signal. Pike goes up to hospitality where he found the manual for the new year celebration then fireworks went up, giving the pirate train a clear view of where the Snowpiercer is. Wilford brings Zarah in to ensure that Layton wouldn’t hurt the front of the train.

Big Alice and Snowpiercer come face to face in the middle of the tracks and to trick Wilford into getting it on with their plan, they bring out Miss Audrey, a soft spot for him. While he was musing on her, Layton and Josie went out and Ben instructs Javi in Spanish to open the doors for the two. Alas, Wilford was trapped and he was forced to announce that Layton is back on the train.
Meanwhile, on the night car, Kevin was punishing the Tailies for being with the resistance and he threatened to cut off Strong Boy’s tongue out. LJ and Oz were watching behind and with the arrival of Layton, a switch flipped on LJ and she said to Oz that it is about time to be on the right side of history then kills Kevin in the process, finally shouting “Long Live The Resistance.”
Wilford gets imprisoned, Audrey gets trapped in Class 3 and barred from going near the night car, Layton celebrates the feat with Ruth alongside planning for a vote on whether they would push through to the Horn of Africa where there is one possibility left for life to thrive beyond the train. As for the Tailies, their mourn the loss of Strong Boy who died in the process.
Meanwhile, Till goes to the freezers to retrieve Roche and his family. However, to her disappointment, only Roche and Carly, his daughter, survived. Anne, the wife of Roche, didn’t. Till remains down as Roche would not take it lightly learning that in the months that passed while they were in the freezers, his wife did not make it.
Layton asks Asha a favor to lie to the whole train and declare that she was a survivor from New Eden, giving people false hope before they cast their votes. The result was to go to the Horn of Africa. The ream on the pirate train plus Ruth decides that the lie was for the betterment of the future of all those aboard the Snowpiercer and Josie said they better be right about what they are about to do.
All the while, Asha was in the library, seemingly contemplating about what she would do next after she told a lie to everyone. Would she betray the person who saved her from dying in the reactor?
What is the Title of Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 4?
Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 4 is titled “Bound By One Track” and the synopsis of the episode is as follows: “Alex must finally deal with her parental figures as a track obstruction uncovers a painful past."
From the title and the synopsis of Season 3 Episode 4, it is possible that this would be the time when they would discover Melanie. It has been hinted in one of the promos that Melanie is still alive and the track obstruction that they might be talking about could somehow be connected to her.
