Snake Eyes Movie Casts Money Heist Star Úrsula Corberó As The Baroness

The highly anticipated G.I. Joe spin-off film has just found its Baroness and she couldn't be any more perfect. Snake Eyes has cast Money Heist star Ursula Corbero as Cobra's intelligence officer.

The news comes from The Wrap which confirms that Corbero will be joining Henry Golding who will be headlining the third G.I. Joe movie. Corbero is best known for playing the robber Tokyo in La Casa de Papel (Money Heist).

Corbero might be a newcomer but she has already proven that she could take on meaty roles. If her performance as Silene Oliveira in Money Heist is any proof, Snake Eyes has found the perfect actress to play the Baroness.

The cast of Snake Eyes is slowly expanding. Golding was the first to be confirmed to take on the titular role followed by Warrior star Andrew Koji who will play Storm Shadow. They will also be joined by The Raid and Wu Assassins star Iko Uwais, who has been cast as Hard Master, the leader of the Arashikage clan.

So far, it's beginning to look like Golding is the only cast member who doesn't have any martial arts background. Although Corbero isn't much of a martial artist herself, she already has several action scenes in Money Heist to prove she can take on the role of the Baroness. For now, we're hoping that Golding is getting some proper training to be the best Snake Eyes he could be.

Snake Eyes is scheduled for release on October 16, 2020.
