It looks like Marvel is giving fans one hell of a mid-series climax as Dead Man Logan gives us the slobberknocker of the decade; Wolverine vs Old Man Logan. Okay, that could be hyperbole but you'd be lying if you said you've never wanted to see who is better between Old Man Logan and Young Kid Logan. Who is like 300 years old but whatever, he's younger.
Old Man Logan was basically a stand-in for Wolverine since the character died a few years back. Now that Wolverine is back and ready to join the X-Men again, it's safe to say that Old Man Logan has outlived his purpose, though the fact that his series lasted 50 issues and is getting a 12-issue maxi-series shows that he was a valuable commodity to Marvel.

The fact that this is only the sixth issue of a 12-issue maxi-series shows that there is more to this series than initially thought. It looks like Marvel really wants Old Man Logan to go out with a bang, so we can probably look forward to more brutal fights going forward. He's already killed some of his foes, including The Maestro, so what could be next?
Created by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, Old Man Logan is an alternate universe story where all the villains banded together to overthrow the heroes. Secret War brought this iteration of Wolverine to the 616 universe, where he tried to prevent his future from happening. It looks like his journey is finally going to end.
Dead Man Logan #6 comes out this April.
