Buster Moon is officially coming back with his team of talented animals and he's adding some amazing new performers to his line-up. The teaser poster for Sing 2 has just confirmed that Bono of U2, Halsey, and Pharrell Williams will be joining the animated musical sequel.
The teaser poster was shared by the official Illumination Twitter account. Check it out below.
"Drum roll please! Introducing the new and returning cast of #SING2!! Buster and the new gang are ready to rock and dream big. Coming to theaters holiday 2021!" the caption reads.
Bono has been confirmed to play Clay Calloway, a lion rock legend that Buster wants to add to his line-up. Halsey will play Porsche Crystal while Williams will provide the voice of Alfonso. Also joining the cast is Bobby Cannavale, who will portray Jimmy Crystal.
The synopsis for Sing 2 reads as follows:
Sing 2 will bring back Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, Nick Kroll, Taron Egerton, and Tori Kelly. The sequel is scheduled for release on December 22, 2021.
