There's no denying that Simu Liu is one of the breakout stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4 and following the success of his debut film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the Canadian actor's popularity was launched to the stratosphere.
This is why it no longer comes as a surprise how he's become so in-demand in geek conventions and signings and as it stands, the actor's signature is currently a hot commodity in the world of autograph collecting - with his signed merch selling for hundreds of dollars in the hobby market.
Unfortunately, toxic and aggressive autograph seekers exist and Simu happened to fall victim to one of them just recently. Taking to his official Twitter account, the 33-year-old star revealed a shocking altercation with a professional autograph seeker who harassed him following his book signing event in Philadephia.
Simu wrote: "Had a not great altercation at the end of my book event in Philly. Look, I'm trying to have a real moment with my audience. If you come to my events and harass me or make me or my fans uncomfortable, there's no chance in hell I'm going to sign for you. Don't cross that line."
Liu is determined to press charges against the unidentified seeker.

Actors like Simu Liu go out of their way to show their appreciation for fans and the least we could do is be respectful. I hope this incident teaches autograph seekers to know their boundaries.
