Silent Hills-Inspired Allison Road is Back From the Dark Side with a New Soul

Fans of Silent Hills and its short-lived P.T. (playable teaser) may be familiar with Allison Road, a horror title that is supposed to be the spiritual successor for P.T. Sadly, earlier in June, even Allison Road suffered the same fate of cancellation and was cast to the dark side of players' minds.

It seems that the project has risen from the dead to bring back the horror, thanks to the efforts of creator Christian Kesler. In an interview with IGN, Kesler confirmed that he will back at the helm of the first-person horror project.

The only difference this time around is that it will be under a different label, Far From Home.

"It did take a bit of soul searching to find the drive again to work on Allison Road and to simply make a call on what to do next. after the setback, I took a bit of a break from working on it and re-evaluated all the work that had been done so far—the whole journey, so to speak."

Kesler mentioned making a few changes to the flow of the story during this time, but eventually that led to the resurrection of the game. Even if Kesler will be going back into the project solo, it appears that he isn't daunted by the task, especially since it was a solo project in the beginning anyway.

Even with the renewed vigor for Allison Road, this doesn't mean that it will immediately be out for fans to play. So far, Kesler has not mentioned any release dates planned.
