To give budding manga creators a new way to share their work, Shueisha teamed up with Medibang to launch Manga Plus Creators, a new platform where anyone can upload their manga online for everyone to read for free.

This new platform was released today and was officially announced on the Manga Plus official Twitter account.

The official website for the platform is also available now, with the Manga Plus app being updated to feature the new platform.

How the platform works is that users can publish their original manga in English or Spanish for everyone to read for free.

The manga’s reading direction can be horizontal or vertical and can be managed through a dashboard.

The uploaded manga works will be available to read on the Manga Plus Creators website. A new Creators tab was also added in the latest update for the Manga Plus app on Android and iOS.

Shueisha also announced a “Monthly Awards” contest where winners will get their manga published on Manga Plus and even on Shonen Jump+ in Japan, alongside hit series like One Piece and Spy x Family.

How it works is that all submitted entries on Creators will be automatically included in the contest.

During the month, the top five works in the platform’s ranking system will be screened by editors. After this, the top four entries will be awarded.

Manga Plus is a manga platform by Shueisha which was launched in January 2019 and is available worldwide except in Japan, China, and South Korea.

The platform published English and Spanish-translated versions of ongoing manga in Weekly Shonen Jump, as well as a selection of titles from Jump+, Jump Square, Weekly Young Jump, Tonari no Young Jump, and V Jump.

It is one of the official ways for readers outside Japan to officially read manga.

Currently, the platform has a promo where all chapters of selected titles can be read once for free. These titles include My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, and more.

Meanwhile, Shueisha’s partner for Creators is Medibang, a Japanese company specializing in art and manga creation software, including MediBang Paint and Jump Paint.
