What Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse All About?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will unfold a little over a year after the events of the movie's 2018 predecessor, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
From a first look at the trailer, we can assume that Miles and his love interest, Gwen, will join forces once more.
We expect the new Spider-verse to feature Miles and Gwen traveling to at least two dimensions to save the Spider-people from the supervillain the Spot.

Should You Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in 2D?
Watching Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in 2D might not be as impressive as 3D, but, for many viewers, it can be much more practical.
With movie theater tickets becoming more and more expensive amidst a global crisis, 2D is usually a bit more affordable than 3D.
In some areas, especially outside major cities, 2D might be more easily available, and watching in 2D won't really detract from your enjoyment of the movie.
Finally, some people find 3D a bit too overwhelming, in which case 2D is a perfectly acceptable way to enjoy the movie, even if 3D is readily available and affordable.

Watching Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in 3D will undoubtedly be a visually impressive experience, but it isn't for anyone.
Those who opt for it will get to fully experience the movie, seeing it in a way that will only be available for a limited time.
That being said, many viewers who have tried watching movies in 3D find them unsuitable for their needs.
Glass wearers might struggle with having to wear 3D glasses on top of their regular glasses.
But even people without eye conditions might find that 3D movies give them a headache or vertigo.
In this case, 3D is definitely not worth it, no matter how hyped it might be.
So, Should You Watch the Movie in 2D or 3D?
Ultimately, whether to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in 2D or 3D is a personal choice and there are arguments for both.
Fans are advised to only opt for 3D if they don't think adverse reactions to it are very likely in their case. If 3D has given you a headache or vertigo in the past, 2D will probably be more comfortable.
