One of the fan-favorite characters in My Hero Academia is Shoto Todoroki. So, when he had to face his brother, Toya Todoroki, popularly known as Dabi, fans of the hero-themed anime were debating which character is stronger between Shoto and Dabi.
We based this article on their fights in the manga and an overall analysis of their abilities.

How Many Times Did Shoto and Dabi Fight?
The brothers have fought twice as of writing. The first time it happened was in Chapters 291 to 295, during the Paranormal Liberation War arc.
This was also when Dabi revealed who he truly was, shocking all the characters.
Dabi took this opportunity to kill his own father, Endeavor, but was stopped by Shoto using his flames. Shoto then tried to control his own brother.
Instead of attacking his father, Dabi targeted Shoto himself. In this round, Dabi won.
The second time Shoto and Dabi fought was during Chapters 349 to 363 or the Final War arc wherein Dabi tried to kill all the heroes to hurt his own father.
Shoto ruined his plan by protecting the heroes with a large ice wall that countered Dabi’s flames. Shoto certainly had the advantage here as Dabi’s body rotted away because of his quirk.
Shoto neutralized the heat from Dabi’s flames and unleashed his strongest move yet, the Flashfire First: Phosphor.
Shoto won this round, making it a tie between the two.
So, Who Is Stronger: Shoto or Dabi?
Based on their two battles thus far, it certainly is a tie. This is why we have to consider all their abilities to see which Todoroki is stronger.
From the get-go, Dabi is the stronger one. He has pain immunity, enhanced durability, cold resistance, and eidetic memory.
His main quirk is Blueflame, a highly destructive attack where blue flames are released from his body.
On the other hand, Shoto has enhanced durability, enhanced stamina, enhanced agility, and keen intellect.
Half-Cold Half-Hot is his main quirk, with several ultimate moves like Flashfire Fist, Flashfreeze Heatwave, and Wall of Flames.
However, Dabi’s body appears to be rotting as a side effect of his quirk.
All For One took him in and boosted his powers to help him get his desired vengeance.
Dabi knew the situation and was ready to die at any time after he got his revenge. This means Shoto is currently stronger compared to Dabi.
