Shooting Stars Episode 4 Recap: Gong Tae Sung Sees Oh Han Byul Getting Asked To Date Do Soo Hyeok

Shooting Stars episode 4 unveils the love triangle that is finally developing between Oh Han Byul, Gong Tae Sung, and a Starforce Entertainment employee.

The new tvN drama features Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae. It tells the story of Oh Han Byul (Lee Sung Kyung), the head of an entertainment agency’s PR team, who meets her greatest nemesis, Kim Young Dae’s Gong Tae Sung.

The drama itself also depicts the realistic set-up of people who work for celebrities behind the scenes in South Korea’s entertainment industry.

Shooting Stars Episode 3 Recap

Shooting Stars episode 3 sees Oh Han Byul and Gong Tae Sung arguing over who truly made the actor go to Africa.

Starforce Entertainment also asks the Oh Han Byul to arrange psychological checkups for their artists and employees. She eventually learns that her stress is already at 75 and reveals that she is warned that she might undergo therapy if it worsens.

Meanwhile, Dong Joon and Ahn Joon Ho received 90 score each on the test, and both of them eventually got collapsed because of fatigue. The episode soon shows Oh Han Byul discovering that Gong Tae Sung’s stress level is already 100. Despite that, he goes to a fan meeting and continues working.

The PR team leader, who stands as she looks worried about Gong Tae Sung’s health, sees Korea’s top star collapsing after the event.

Shooting Stars Episode 4: Gong Tae Sung Meets His Rival in Oh Han Byul’s Heart

Oh Han Byul runs toward Gong Tae Sung when she sees that he is about to collapse. But instead of running toward him, she trips herself and slides until she reaches the actor and the security personnel’s legs and stops between them.

The incident’s video immediately goes viral, and Gong Tae Sung starts to have fun rewatching the clip. Meanwhile, the devastated Oh Han Byul finds herself in the middle of the disaster again.

Choi Ji Hoon announces that the filming of The World of Stars will start soon. Gong Tae Sung, Yoon Jae Hyun, and Baek Da Hye have been tapped to lead the series, and they all meet during the script reading.

Oh Han Byul and Kang Yoo Sung talk about Gong Tae Sung’s stress level result, and the PR team leader brings up the article about Eun Si Woo divorcing French director Pierre Morelle. For what it’s worth, Gong Tae Sung looked shocked when he saw the article in the previous episode, and it remains unknown why he reacted that way.

Despite his stress, Gong Tae Sung pushes through with the series’ filming and goes to the countryside where the taping is scheduled. Jin Yu Na and Yoon Jae Hyun also start developing an antagonistic relationship toward each other.

Amid the smooth-sailing filming, Byeon Jung Yeol gets into Gong Tae Sung’s nerves again by continuously doing mistakes in his job. Kang Yoo Sung asks for Oh Han Byul’s help as the actor no longer wants to film because of a recent embarrassing incident.

The whole PR team then saves the day and arrives at the filming location with a food truck. They start giving the filming staff goods, and Oh Han Byul asks Byeon Jung Yeol to deliver an exclusive snack box to Gong Tae Sung.

After filming a scene, the two start serving coffee to the staff. An old couple asks if they are selling something in the area, but Gong Tae Sung gives them citron tea instead of coffee.

However, the old man suddenly collapses after walking from the coffee truck. Byeon Jung Yeol starts doing CPR and asks Gong Tae Sung the black bag he brought with them to use the defibrillator. They soon receive good news about the old man’s stable condition while they are on their way home.

Gong Tae Sung praises Byeon Jung Yeol’s emergency care skills, telling him he can work in the medical industry again if he gets fired from being his manager. As for the reason why he brought a defibrillator with him, Byeon Jung Yeol reveals he prepared it just in case he collapses during the shoot.

Shooting Stars episode 4 also reveals that Kang Yoo Sung left the set to meet Eun Si Woo. He then tells Gong Tae Sung he will find another manager to replace Byeon Jung Yeol, but the top star refuses and tells him that his current is fine.

Meanwhile, Do Soo Hyeok spots Oh Han Byul in a coffee shop and starts having a conversation with her. The scene seemingly hints at Do Soo Hyeok’s growing feelings toward the PR team leader.

He eventually asks her if she is dating Gong Tae Sung after hearing the PR department’s staff saying that the two seemingly have a romantic relationship. Gong Tae Sung, who is standing near them, overhears their conversation.

Do Soo Hyeok asks Oh Han Byul if she wants to meet a good lawyer since she is not dating anyone at the moment. In the end of the episode, Do Soo Hyeok points at himself, indirectly asking her to date him.

Shooting Stars episode 5 will be aired on May 6, and it will release new episodes every Friday and Saturday at 10:40 p.m. KST.
