The Killer’s Shopping List already dropped two of its eight episodes, and they immediately showed remarkable ratings that outshined other dramas.

Premiered on April 27, The Killer’s Shopping List is a new comedy-thriller drama featuring Lee Kwang Soo and AOA Seolhyun. The new K-drama explores the lives of the people working at MS Mart and living in the neighborhood in Seoul. However, they are shocked one day when a murder occurs in the area, and only a supermarket receipt serves as the sole evidence.

As it will continue to release new episodes every Wednesday and Thursday, The Killer’s Shopping List ensures that it piques people’s interests – and it immediately managed to do so with its first two episodes.

The Killer’s Shopping List Records Impressive Ratings

After its first episode on April 27, Nielsen Korea confirmed that the premiere of The Killer’s Shopping List scored 3.6 percent ratings, which is close to the record Kill Heel made.

It ranked first among the other dramas in its timeslot, beating JTBC’s Green Mothers’ Club and KBS2’s Love All Play with 2.8 and 1.7 percent ratings, respectively.

Meanwhile, The Killer’s Shopping List episode 2 saw a 0.1 decrease, having steady ratings at 3.5 percent. Green Mother’s Club is back at No. 1 with 4.3 percent nationwide ratings – the drama’s new personal record.

Love All Play’s ratings slightly decreased again and only recorded 1.5 percent on its fourth episode.

Viewers can now watch The Killer’s Shopping List on different platforms aside from tvN.

The comedy-thriller drops its episodes on the Chinese online video platform, iQiyi. Fans can also watch it on Viu, but for added excitement, one can visit Viki’s website to have their own watch party.
