Back in middle school, Izumi was always worried about his misfortune. He is frequently injured and left behind on school trips. Even if his friends invite him to join them, Izumi is concerned about their safety if he does come along.
When a falling teddy bear flew out of nowhere at one of his friends, Izumi decided to cancel the school trip.
To ease his anxiety, Izumi wanders off to a temple shrine where he questions the gods about his misfortunes. He even asked to have a hero that would one day save him from his sadness.
