Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie will have a total of 12 episodes.

Following My Dress-Up Darling's number of episodes, the anime will also be a single cour, running 12 episodes. Notably, this is the norm for romcom anime shows. In general, a 12 to 13-episode anime usually adapts four volumes of the source material. Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie has eleven tankobon volumes that have been published.

Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie is premiering on Asahi Broadcasting and its 24 affiliate stations in Japan. At the same time, the anime will be available for repeat broadcasts on stations such as AT-X and BS12. Crunchyroll will stream the animation with English subtitles for international viewers. In addition, Muse ASIA and Bilibili TV are also streaming the anime with English and Chinese subtitles for Asian regions.
