She-Hulk Director Wants Jennifer Lopez To Join The MCU

The director of Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, Kat Coiro, revealed that one of her dreams is to bring Jennifer Lopez into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Coiro’s first MCU project, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, follows the defense attorney Jennifer Walters, who inherits Hulk’s powers after being accidentally contaminated with Bruce Banner’s blood. From there, Jennifer must go through her everyday life as a 6'7" green superhero with her profession as a lawyer, now specializing in cases that involve superhumans.

In a recent interview with Tara Hitchcock, Corio reveals that one of her "dream" is to bring Jennifer Lopez into the MCU. However, the She-Hulk director hasn’t revealed what role or project she would like to see J-Lo be a part of, as she just wanted the fans to know. “Oh, well, my dream is to bring J-Lo into the MCU, so… Put that out there,” Coiro said during the interview.

Before directing She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Coiro directed the 2022 romantic comedy titled, Marry Me which starred Jennifer Lopez as a superstar who chooses to marry a random fan (played by Loki star Owen Wilson) raising a "Marry Me" sign during one of her concerts. Lopez and Coiro developed a close connection during the production of the film, and before the film was released on Peacock, Coiro posted a heartfelt message about Lopez on social media. It is no surprise that the She-Hulk director is now campaigning to bring J-Lo into the MCU.

Back in 2018, Jennifer Lopez was once fan-cast as She-Hulk after she posted a photo on her Instagram showing off her impressive biceps. The role of She-Hulk obviously went to Maslany for the Disney+ series, though as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand and attract more and more A-list stars, it wouldn’t be difficult to find a role in the franchise suitable for Jennifer Lopez.

The first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is currently streaming on Disney+ with new episodes released weekly.
