Though Aquaman was supposedly the big trailer reveal from SDCC 2018, some people consider the Shazam! trailer much more exciting. The DCEU is going slow and steady with the promotion for the film, and we have a new image of Shazam as well as his sidekick Freddy Freeman.

Unlike the other superheroes that have been introduced in the DCEU, Shazam! promises to bring us something different as it's the first film in the franchise to fully embrace comedy. Zachary Levi absolutely shines in the clips of Shazam that we've seen, but Zack Dylan Grazer also makes for a fun sidekick in the form of Eddie.
For now, all hopes are riding on Aquaman to bring the DCEU back on its feet after the disappointment of Justice League. If that movie fails though (god forbid), it looks like it will be up to Shazam to bring back faith in the DCEU.
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson's case, by shouting out one word - SHAZAM! - this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult superhero Shazam.
