Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Who Are The Cast of the Movie?
Strap in because it is now a family thing in Shazam! Fury of the Gods as the foster siblings take everyone into a new adventure saving the world from another threat, this time, together as their own respective heroes with their unique abilities!
Shazam! Fury of the Gods will follow Billy Batson and his foster siblings as they all becomes superheroes when they say the name, "Shazam!" This time, they are up to a bigger challenge as they will face the Daughters of Atlas which are about to use a weapon of mass destruction.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Zachary Levi and Asher Angel as Shazam/ Billy Batson
Zachary Levi leads the pack as he would be reprising his role as Shazam, being the adult and hero counterpart of Asher Angel who plays Billy Batson, the foster child who was chosen by an ancient wizard to be Shazam!
Shazam stands for each of the abilities that the champion would have with the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury.
Zachary Levi is best known for his roles in Tangled as the voice of Eugene, Thor: The Dark World as Fandral, and various roles in Broadway. Asher Angel previously appeared in Jolene with Jessica Chastain and Andi Mack on Disney Channel.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Jack Dylan Grazer and Adam Brody as Frederick "Freddy" Freeman
The foster brother of Billy is Frederick Freeman, "Freddy" for short and he is physically disabled. His love for superheroes has guided Bill on what to do and be the hero that Shazam is supposed to be, even to the point of testing various powers.
He is played by Jack Dylan Grazer when in his regular kid form while Adam Brody portrays the superhero form of Freddy when in Shazam mode where he could fly and be superhumanly strong. He wears the blue suit.
Jack Dylan Grazer is known for his roles in It, It Chapter Two, Me Myself and I, We Are Who We Are, and the voice of Alberto in Luca, and voice of Jonathan Kent in Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons.
Adam Brody, on the other hand, has a ton of acting credits under his belt like Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Thank You For Smoking, In The Land of Women, Jennifer's Body, Lovelace, Sleeping With Other People, and StartUp among others.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Ross Butler and Ian Chen as Eugene Choi
Another foster brother of Billy Batson is Eugene Choi, one who is younger than him, and is obsessed with playing video games, thus, he has some knack in strategizing how to attack his opponents. In Shazam form, he could manipulate and generate electricity.
When a kid, he is played by Ian Chen who obsesses over video games and is one whiz kid! Upon transformation, Ross Butler plays his alter ego and he wears the gray suit.
Ian Chen is the young American-Taiwanese actor known for his role in Fresh Off The Boat. Ross Butler previously appeared in 13 Reasons Why, K.C. Undercover, To All The Boys: PS I Still Love You, To All The Boys: Always and Forever, and the voice of Spine in Raya and the Last Dragon.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield
The eldest among the foster siblings is Mary Bromfield who is the voice of reason among them considering her age and maturity. She is also driven to perform great academically so she could score a college scholarship, and boy, no one dare touch her younger siblings!
Previously played by Michelle Borth as the adult version of Mary, Grace Fulton now embraces the role as both the kid version and the Shazam hero version of her character. She wears red and has superhuman strength and wits apt for hand-to-hand combat.
Grace Fulton is best known for her roles in That's Life and her recent project is Fall where she starred as the titular role, a film that brought everyone to their knees.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Meagan Good and Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley
Ah, the ever so sweet and cute Darla Dudley who is the best in keeping a secret among the foster siblings of Billy! Darla is the youngest among the siblings and she is irresistibly adorable with a bubbly personality and a huge affection to her siblings!
Darla wears purple and she has the speed of Mercury when in Shazam form where she is played by Meagan Good, and when she is in her tiny child form, her regular one, Faithe Herman brings her to life.
Meagan Good is known for her roles in Eve's Bayou, Cousin Skeeter, Deliver Us From Eva, Roll Bounce, Stomp the Yard, One Missed Call, Saw V, and The Unborn among others. Faithe Herman previously appeared in This is Us.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: DJ Cotrona and Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña
Pedro Peña is the second eldest among the foster siblings and he is a shy and sensitive guy who cares deeply for his brothers and sisters. He is quite the big brother with only a few words but do not even dare to cross his siblings!
Wearing green, Pedro Peña has super strength and he could carry weight a lot more than his! In Shazam form, he is played by D.J. Cortona, and when a kid, he is portrayed by Jovan Armand.
D.J. Cotrona is best known for his roles in G.I. Joe, From Dusk Til Dawn, Dear John, and Love is the Drug, while Jovan Armand previously appeared in My Big Heist, Snowfall, The Middle, Girl Flu, and more.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Rachel Zegler as Anthea
She is the surprise character of the movie and with the release of the last trailer of Shazam! Fury of the Gods, it has been confirmed that Rachel Zegler will be playing the youngest daughter of Atlas, Anthea, who will be a friend of Freddy.
As Rachel Zegler described Anthea's powers, she said, “I have the Power of Axis, which means I put my hands up and they light up, and then the world shifts around me. I act as Earth’s axis and everything is built/shifts around me.”
Rachel Zegler is a breakout star from the American Musical Drama film, West Side Story, where she played Maria, one of the lead roles, and got her Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in the said role.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Helen Mirren as Hespera
The eldest daughter of Atlas is Hespera, who, in mythology, is actually his wife. She is expected to be among the villains of Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and from the myths, her power is giving light and causing the sunset, the goddess of immortality and is in the middle of the scale of good and evil.
Helen Mirren has been cast as Hespera which speaks volumes because, boy, Helen Mirren is an award-winning actress with tons of accolades under her belt! She appeared in tons of titles such as The Queen, the Audience, Prime Suspect, F9, Red, Eye in the Sky, among others.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Lucy Liu as Kalypso
Kalypso is one of the daughters of Atlas, and she is one that matches the myths because she is, indeed, the daughter of Atlas. In Shazam! Fury of the Gods, she is seen planting an orb that destroyed miles and miles of a city. In the myths, she is a nymph forever exiled in Ogygia.
Lucy Liu plays Kalypso and she is another award-winning addition to Shazam! Fury of the Gods known for her appearances in Ally McBeal, Charlie's Angels, Chicago, Shanghai Noon, Payback, Set It Up, and Kill Bill: Volume 1 among others.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods Character Guide: Djimon Housou as The Wizard Shazam
There is no Shazam and the rest of the family without the ancient Shazam wizard who called in Billy Batson as his champion and granted him the powers of Shazam. From the Council of Wizards, he is the last surviving member of the line, thus, finding his champion with Billy.
Djimon Hounsou reprises his role as The Wizard and he is best known for his roles in Without You I'm Nothing, Gladiator, In America, Blood Diamond, Furious 7, Forces Speciales, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Constantine among others.
