Shazam! Deleted Scene Teases Black Adam

The Rock's Black Adam was nowhere to be seen in Shazam!, but a deleted scene actually teases his arrival somewhere down the line. With the film set to hit home video this July, check out this deleted scene with the Shazam Family settling into the Rock of Eternity.

I'll be honest, I actually blanked out when they were teasing a seventh member, but Adam was the most obvious answer. We know that Adam was the one who possessed the Wizard's powers before Billy, but it's curious when the franchise is going to have them clash.

For now, the film had ended with a teaser for Mister Mind, who is kind of formidable in his own way. If we want the Shazam Family to go against Adam, I think we'll have to wait for the standalone movie starring Dwayne Johnson, which is expected to start shooting sometime next year.

With the character's origins ruling an ancient civilization, I can't help but think this is all going to turn out like The Scorpion King.

Shazam! was actually a hit for the DCEU, and a lot of people couldn't believe the studio was ballsy enough to include the whole Shazam family in the first movie. Either way, I think the theme of family is what ultimately makes the film, and I'm interested to see where everything goes when it comes to the sequel.

Shazam! is set to hit digital July 2, and will come to Blu-Ray and DVD on July 16.
