Following a lengthy hiatus, production for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has recently resumed in Australia and it looks like a familiar face from the Marvel Cinematic Universe could make an appearance in the upcoming movie.
The Kogi Korean BBQ Instagram account shared a picture they took with Simu Liu along with Doctor Strange star Benedict Wong. While it is possible that both actors happen to be in town or are just hanging out while taking a break from filming, the photo has sparked speculation that Wong could be involved in the Shang-Chi movie as well. With filming currently in place and Wong having an established character within the MCU, it is possible that he'll make an appearance in the film. The photo's caption also indicates that this might not be the first time the pair have dined at the said restaurant.
As Doctor Strange's fellow Master of the Mystic Arts, if Wong appears in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, it could somewhat be connected to The Mandarin. The character is known to have ties to magic, should Shang-Chi cross paths with the Mandarin, he might have to learn more about his abilities from Wong first.
