Tenet Star Elizabeth Debicki Teases Ayesha's Return in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3

There is little doubt that everyone is excited about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 especially now that James Gunn will be directing the film. But what are the chances that the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick will bring back Ayesha from the second movie? Elizabeth Debicki has just teased on the possibility that her character will be back in the sequel.

Debicki is currently promoting Tenet but Comicbook.com also asked the actress if she will reprise her role as Ayesha in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Interestingly, the Man from UNCLE star stated that she hasn't been asked to return just yet but that doesn't mean she isn't interested in going back to the MCU.

"I want to, I want to. I love [Ayesha]," Debicki said. "I actually really, really loved playing her, and I loved making that movie and working with everybody and James, and it was... it was a really fun job for me. So I hope so."

Not surprisingly, Debicki admitted that she wonders what happened to Ayesha after everything that has happened in the MCU and she hopes the character will return in the future.

"I, sometimes I just think about her golden throne and her golden dress, just waiting somewhere in the wings. I would love, even if I just sort of scooch on for a second. I mean, I would love to come back," Debicki said.

Although it is still unclear if Ayesha will be back, fans believe that her appearance in the GOTGV2 post-credits scene meant she would have a bigger role to play. After all, it was already teased that she will be responsible for Adam Warlock's introduction so we're keeping our fingers crossed for her return.

You can catch Debicki in Tenet, which is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
