Florian Munteanu has an awesome job right now playing one of the villains in Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings. But is there any other character that he wants to go up against in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Munteanu has just admitted that he is hoping for an epic Razor Fist vs Wolverine showdown.
Munteanu is currently busy promoting Shang-Chi and that means being able to talk about his hopes for his character after The Legend of the Ten Rings. So what does the Creed II star hope will happen to Razor Fist in the MCU? Munteanu told Comicbook.com that he wants the character to go up against a mutant.
"I have a dream matchup: Razor Fist against Wolverine," he said. Munteanu then explained that it has already happened in the comics so it's a fight he would love to see in live-action.
"They actually collided at some point in the comic books," he said. "Seeing Wolverine with his blades and then Razor Fist, maybe another outcomes, as well. Who knows? We'll see what happens."
The idea of Razor Fist facing off against Wolverine is a welcome one but it's important to point out that the mutants have not yet appeared in the MCU. It might still be a long wait for this to happen but we will continue to wait for Wolverine's MCU debut.
Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings stars Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Meng'er Zhang, Fala Chen, Benedict Wong, Michelle Yeoh, and Tony Leung. The movie will premiere in theaters on September 3, 2021.
