Shang-Chi Drops Official Character Posters Looking Lethal

As the release of Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings get closer, official character posters have been dropped for the cast of the film and they are all looking lethal in their poses, hyping up the next action-packed film for the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe introducing a new hero coming into the franchise.

Marvel dropped the official character posters on their website and the official Twitter page of Shang-Chi with the characters all looking lethal in their poses, teasing an action-packed film. Six cast members got their very own photo with Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Awkwafina as Katy, Tony Leung as Wenwu/ The Mandarin, Meng'er Zhang as Shang-Chi's sister Xialing, Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, and the warrior of the Ten Rings, Death Dealer.

A new featurette was also released with the cast of the film were a whole lot different than in the element they have in their character posters as they were answering funny questions and laughing about it.

Recently, Disney called for an all in-person CinemaCon with the executives and cast members of the film due to concerns about the cases of COVID-19 rising again. Disney revealed that there would be a screening of Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings one week before the theatrical release of the film. It will happen on August 25, 2021, and those who would attend would be prohibited from using mobile devices.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings will introduce the titular character who is about to face his father, the real Mandarin, for wanting a different path in life than the one chosen for him – the heir to the Ten Rings, a powerful set of rings worn on each arm with respective powers for every ring. While some things are not as the comics have told, it remains to be a highly anticipated adaptation.

Various characters in the MCU would also be appearing in the film such as Wong from Doctor Strange and Abomination from The Incredible Hulk. A dragon underwater was also teased making fans curious as to how such a creature would play a part in the journey of Shang-Chi.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings are scheduled to premiere in theaters on September 3, 2021.
