SEVENTEEN Woozi is finally ready to show more following the release of the Ruby teaser.
Last month, PLEDIS dropped a teaser video of Woozi's Ruby, where the K-pop idol made people's jaws drop with his charisma and visuals. Although he has been working as the boy group's producer and vocal team leader, he reportedly has more to offer while expanding his musical spectrum.
Before the song officially arrives, he talked about the mixtape itself and how it would serve as his gifts to their fans, CARATs.

SEVENTEEN Woozi Shares What Fans Can Look Forward To
This week, Woozi shared his thoughts about releasing his first mixtape and how he pushed himself to create the project for their fans.
According to the producer, he feels like he grew up as a musician while composing Ruby, and his fans will soon see his efforts. He hinted that the mixtape is a powerful song that attracts people just how the jewel captivates people.

"I tried to create music that only the singer Woozi could create. I think it'd be good for people to focus on Woozi's vocals, which move freely within a colorful array of variations," he said.
Although Ruby will show a new side of him, Woozi clarified he remains the same SEVENTEEN member CARATs fell in love with. Meanwhile, he also took his time to share the most memorable part about working on the song, saying that composing all-English lyrics caught him the most.
SEVENTEEN Members To Launch Solo Careers
Aside from Woozi, all other SEVENTEEN members will reportedly debut as a soloist.
On SEVENTEEN's Twitter account, the group said that the members would release their mixtape one after another as part of The Thirteen Tapes. Currently, only Hoshi and The8 were able to work solo.
Hoshi released his Spider last year and revealed that the tarot card reading in 2018 pushed him to write the song. The8, for his part, dropped his Side By Side song that serves as his third solo single.
With that, CARATs should wait until all members finally get the chance to debut individually.
