The new K-drama Death’s Game has found its main leads through Seo In Guk and Park So Dam.
In a news obtained by KBizoom, Star Today confirmed that the two actors will headline the webtoon-based series.
Seo In Guk Replaced Kang Ha Neul as Lead Star in Death’s Game
As mentioned it is based on the popular webtoon of the same name that follows the story of a person who begins his life with death.
While viewers are set to see Seo In Guk and Park So Dam in one frame, Death’s Game is initially offered to Kang Ha Neul.
At the time, he is courted to play the role of Choi Yi Jae; unfortunately, the offer was declined reportedly because of the programming.

With this, Seo In Guk will play the male protagonist along with Park So Dam.
As for Death’s Game’s release date and cast lineup, officials are yet to confirm these details but the webtoon-based series will air on JTBC and TVING.
Seo In Guk to Star in Back to Back K-dramas This 2023
Besides his appearance in Death’s Game, the South Korean heartthrob will headline an action thriller historical series Handwritten.
Playing the role of Kwon Soo Young, who lost his memory and gets winded up in a challenging situation to find out his identity.
Set against the backdrop of the Joseon Dynasty, viewers is looking forward to seeing the actor in a historical K-drama and with a challenging role.
Apart from it, he will also play one of the lead stars in Smoking Gun.
Penned by Park Hye Jin, the screenwriter of Cafe Minamdang and The Emperor: Owner of the Mask, the upcoming project of Seo In Gul is an espionage action thriller, that focuses on a former South Korean agent who has memory loss and a secret agent from North Korea with a mission to kill him.
The upcoming K-dramas is the actor’s comeback to the small screen after his interesting character in Cafe Minamdang with Oh Yeon Seo.
Park So Dam’s First K-drama After Brief Hiatus
With Seo In Guk and Park So Dam confirming their appearance, Death's Game will be her comeback to the small screen after Record of Youth and hiatus due to health issues.
In 2021, her agency said that the actress is recovering from surgery after being diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer.
Due to this, Park So Dam skipped the promotional activities for her movie Special Delivery.
However, a year later, she return with a new film Phantom with Lee Honey.
