See New Teaser of Avatar Na’vi Ride Journey Coming to Disney

Disney Parks is adding quite a lot of attractions to its parks. While a Star Wars attraction is expected in 2019, fans can look forward to the earlier arrival of the Avatar attraction on May 27 this year.

To commemorate this, Disney Parks has released a very quick teaser trailer of the attraction, dubbed as Pandora: The World of Avatar.

"Experience a mystical Pandoran river where every moment tells a story."

The teaser is just 15 seconds long. There is one quick glimpse of the possible attraction's looks before cutting to a scene featuring a girl enjoying the attraction, so it's possible that the earlier footage showed the foliage by the river.

If it is, then the visual effect and the overall planning for the Avatar ride is very promising.

If the journey through the mystical river not enough, there's another teaser, seen below, which hints at an attraction that lets fans "experience the natural world of Pandora in all its glory—on the back of a banshee." Unlike the first clip, this one didn't show any footage of the ride itself. As a teaser, the YouTube channel added:

"Prepare yourself for a Na'vi rite of passage as you soar aboard a winged banshee on an exhilarating, wind-in-your-face flight through Pandora!"

While this doesn't give a lot of clues as to where the ride will be about, the "wind-in-your-face flight" does give us a few ideas. Wil it be a rollercoaster with wind effects? Will it be a 3D ride with wind effects? Pretty sure the wind effects would be a given, since park goers won't be given an actual ride on a banshee of sorts, but still—this does look very promising.

Prepare for your own expedition to Pandora, which will open as an attraction on May 27 from Disney's Animal Kingdom.
