A lot of franchises found their way in the Toy Fair 2017. Star Wars is no exception as the summer, fall, and winter 2017 LEGO Star Wars sets were unveiled and showcased at the event.
Brother-Brick got some snapshots of the different Star Wars sets. The winter sets area already available in the U.S. The summer and fall sets are expected to debut sometime in June or September.
The U.S. may be late in the game in getting the winter 2017 LEGO sets, but the showcase reminds us why they are worth getting, particularly if you enjoyed Rogue One.
"Over 30 new building sets join the best-selling LEGO Star Wars collection. Sets are inspired by the Star Wars saga films, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, plus Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and the Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures and the Star Wars Rebels television series. Popular characters also appear in buildable figure form with nine new sets."
There's the Y-Wing Starfighter ($59.99), which has the Admiral Raddus, an astromech droid, a Stormtrooper, Moroff the Bounty Hunter, and a Blue Squadrom Y-Wing Pilot.
The Battle on Scarif set harks back to Rogue One, as it is the ship with Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, and two shore troopers. It's a 419-piece set for $49.99. The Phantom [II] as Grand Admiral Thrawn, Chopper the Droid, Kanan Jarrus, and the Phantom II ship for $29.99.
For the summer and fall collections, there are a total of 10 sets showcased out of the 30 expected new building sets. These include the following:
Jekku Quadjumper ($49.99) Feature Rey, Finn, an Unkar thug, and a First Order Stormtrooper
Rathar Escape ($79.99) 836-piece set of the Eravana from The Force Awakens, with Han Solo, Chewbacca, BalaTik, and two Guavian Death Gang security
Republic Fighter Tank ($24.99) Redesign of Jedi Aayla
Darth Vader Transformation ($24.99) will show his transformation from Anakin to the dark Sith Lord.
Yoda's Jedi Starfighter ($24.99) stars Yoda R2-D2
Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike ($54.99) Featuring a vehicle, this set will have a scout trooper and a speeder bike as part of the 452-piece set.
First Order Transport Speeder Battle Pack that showcases the TR-8R, a Stormtrooper Flame trooper, and a driver
Bounty Hunter Battle Pack will have Dengar, Bossk, 4-LOM, and IG-88
The Arrowhead ($89.99) is set in the backdrop of the Freemaker Adventures for June
Tracker 1 ($69.99) Contains 557 pieces
Make sure to get the earlier sets first as they are currently on sale because of the event. The Winter 2017 Star Wars LEGO sets are also available now via Amazon or the official LEGO shop.
