2021 marks the expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and while a lot of fans initially expressed skepticism and thought that Marvel Studios' new venture with Disney+ is risky business, Phase 4's opening salvo WandaVision proved that the MCU is just too big of a franchise to ignore and so far, viewers are excited about their upcoming small screen offerings.

As WandaVision comes to a close, two beloved MCU heroes will make their highly-anticipated returns to the franchise via The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which premieres two weeks after WandaVision's grand finale.

When you think about it, Wanda and Bucky have one thing in common — they both share the same traumatic background that has been haunting them all their lives. And if there are any characters in the franchise who are in desperate need of therapy, the Scarlet Witch, the Winter Soldier, and the Falcon, to some extent are no-brainer candidates.

This is why actor Sebastian Stan is "questioning" Marvel Studios' decision to give the said characters their own shows on Disney+ instead of taking them to therapy. Sharing a viral meme on his Instagram page, Stan hilariously agreed that Wanda, Sam, and Bucky need to be somewhere else. Check it out here:

One would argue that Bucky may not need to undergo therapy considering he's been free from Hydra's brainwashing for a number of years now. Sure, that's true but it's pretty safe to assume that he still carries the pain, guilt, and not to mention all the burden in the world and I'm sure The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will give us a better understanding of his struggles with his inner demons.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will hit Disney+ on March 19, 2021.
