With every franchise getting a reboot here and there, WB is working on a Scooby-Doo film called Scoob!, and it's going to be animated. We haven't had any official promo images and trailers released yet, but there are some new leaked photos of Velma, Fred, Scooby, and… Muttley?

You can check out the photos here.

I'll admit, I'm not that big a fan of the looks of Velma and Fred, but maybe I'll change my mind once I see them in action. The character that does look pretty impressive is Muttley. If you don't remember, Muttley wasn't a regular in Scooby-Doo, but rather another dog in the Hanna-Barbera family; Muttley is best known to be the lackey of Dick Dastardly, and he's known for his signature snickering laugh.

Rumor has it that Dick is actually the main villain for this movie, so it would make sense that his sidekick Muttley would be hanging around. Besides him, the movie is also set to bring to screen another HB character in the form of Captain Caveman, and he'll be voiced by 30 Rock's Tracy Morgan.

Other members of the cast include Frank Welker as Scooby with Will Forte (Shaggy), Gina Rodriguez (Velma), Zac Efron (Fred), and Amanda Seyfried (Daphne).

Scooby-Doo is the hero of his own story in "SCOOB!," the first full-length, theatrical animated Scooby-Doo adventure, which reveals how he and his best friend Shaggy became two of the world's most beloved crime busters. The story takes us back to where it all began, when a young Scooby and Shaggy first meet, and team up with Daphne, Velma, and Fred to launch Mystery Incorporated.

Scoob! is aiming for a release on May 2020. With that in mind, we should expect a trailer drop before the year ends.
