Samuel L. Jackson Still Wants To Bring Mace Windu Back In Future Star Wars Films

There are only a few deaths more disappointing than the demise of Mace Windu in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Not surprisingly, Samuel L. Jackson isn't happy with his character's fate, either. The Spider-Man: Far From Home star has just confirmed that he still wants to return as the Jedi Master in future Star Wars movies.

Jackson recently spoke to JOE while promoting his new film Glass. The Avengers: Infinity War actor revealed that he is scheduled to fly to Belfast to do some press time. When asked if he would be interested in talking with the Star Wars crew in Ireland in hopes of possibly returning as Mace Windu, Jackson stated that he is just one call away.

"I'm that guy. All they got to do is call," Jackson said.

This isn't the first time that Jackson has teased on Mace Windu's return in a Star Wars film. He even suggested that the Jedi Master may have survived his unfortunate fate in Revenge of the Sith and that Mace Windu wouldn't be the first Force user with only one arm.

"You know, it's not that crazy that Jedi can fall from great heights and survive. And how many one-handed people are roaming about in that galaxy? Quite a few… I've still got the old Jedi spirit. I'm down," Jackson had said.

Although it's unlikely that we'll see Mace in Star Wars: Episode IX, fans are still hoping that Jackson will reprise the role in future movies. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that the Jedi Master was stronger than Palpatine thought he was.

Jackson's new film Glass is currently in theaters worldwide. He will also return as Nick Fury in Spider-Man: Far From Home which premieres on July 5. Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled for release on December 20.
