Samuel L. Jackson is clearly excited for Captain Marvel. The Spider-Man: Far From Home star has just reacted to the new image of a younger Nick Fury from the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.
Jackson is currently working on Far From Home in the UK but that didn't stop the veteran actor from taking notice of the Captain Marvel images that have just been released. The Avengers: Infinity War star immediately shared the picture of his character on his official Instagram account with a cheeky caption. Check out his post below.
Fury certainly looks good in the photo. In addition to having both eyes, he also rocks a full head of hair and no beard. The cut above his left eyebrow does raise some concern. After all, that's the same eye Fury eventually loses. We'll have to wait and see if he manages to keep his left eye until the end of Captain Marvel.
Fans were delighted when the first images from Captain Marvel were dropped yesterday. We finally got to see Brie Larson in Carol Danvers' classic blue, red, and gold suit as well as an awesome introduction to the Skrull. There also a photo confirming that Mar-Vell (Jude Law) is working with Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace). Needless to say, all the pictures have us hoping that March would arrive sooner.
Fury is set to return in two films next year. Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8, 2019. Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled for release on July 5, 2019.
